don’t think it’s too much for Republicans to stop trying to scare the public into supporting its policies. It didn’t work last November, lets hope it doesn’t work now. GOP: use sound arguments (as plenty of sound arguments can be made, especially against Governor Quinn) not fear, and maybe, just maybe, we’ll vote for you. Mark Kirk: shame on you. I expected more.
Democrats should beware: if the GOP listens to Newt Gingrich rather than Rush Limbaugh it will become a party with an alternative rather than a party of NO! Listening to Rush will do two things: get Rush rich and get the GOP 45% of the vote. Neither win elections.
Governor Pat Quinn initially demanded campaign finance reform. Why was he silent when it was finally crafted and delivered? Does that silence tell us something about his effectiveness?
