Dale Peterson for Alabama Agriculture Commissioner

Dale Peterson is running for Alabama’s Agriculture Commissioner.  Dale Peterson is the Republican candidate in the Alabama primary- to be held in about three weeks.   Recently, he aired a commercial, which begins with a photograph of the Constitution (since apparently only Republicans believe in the Constitution).  Next, we find Mr. Peterson riding his horse on his vast  ranch when he introduces himself and the office of Agriculture Commissioner.  What? You never heard of the Office of Agriculture Commissioner?  Dale tells us we didn’t know the office existed: “because thugs and criminals” are keeping Alabamans in the dark about this very powerful office– because “they don’t give a rip” about Alabama.

And Dale doesn’t take too kindly to his opponent’s supporters stealing his  yard signs either.  After calling his opponent a ”dummy”, Dale shows his shotgun for the first time, letting the viewing public know that Republicans are better than the shenanigans employed by his opponent– using that Facebook device and such.

Dale Peterson’s commercial (shown here)  caused me to get my wallet out.   I don’t give a rip about who wins this race, but I like Dale ‘s horse– so  maybe my $25 will get to the horse somehow.

You have to give Dale credit; I live in Illinois and I”ve seen his commercial.  He’ll be on Glenn Beck tomorrow– which Dale’s entire constituency watches– and I even heard a rumor he was on MSNBC.

Make your own decision,  here’s the quirky spot:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jU7fhIO7DG0&feature=player_embedded

At the very least, people talking about Dale Peterson and the office Agriculture Commissioner.    Good luck Dale!  And you stay classy Alabama!

Any thoughts or will there be any coverage of AZ offering to turn off the power to LA. Now this is some good politics!
